Randy and Kathy, I enjoyed your podcase regarding sickbuilding syndrome. Very infomative. I could tell you nine years of stories regarding this issue. I am very ill from mold but also have mcs/reactive airways disease. One problem I encountered in my last apartment after fleeing mold in several homes was no mold in my apartment, but all of the exhaust vents were by windows. Cooking, bathroom, and laundry vents were by all windows. I suffered constantly with fragrance coming into the windows. When I would take a walk in the community I noticed most townhouses and apartments have these vents located by the windows. I called my legislator about legislation in new construction putting the windows away from the windows. I got no reply from my legislator. I would not doubt that this is one cause of SIDS. I can’t imagine having a baby crib by the window and the unsuspecting mother closes the door and the baby is left with this toxic air. I have written for years to every level of government regarding mold and the chemicals in our products. It is very discouraging. Thank you for informing the public. Linda Delp, Delaware
